Golden Oo-Loong:
It is an Oolong tea. This tea is originally from a small village in An Xi and earned its reputation by the glittering gold color and the osmanthus fragrance. The unique elegance is appraised by the poem like saying: "Celestial fragrance, thy leads the taste."
How to Brew:
- Water: Distilled water or mineral water preferred, pottery from Yixing or porcelain ware from Jingdezhen complement the enjoyment.
- Placing Leaves: Fill 3/10 of the pot with leaves, pour in 95°C hot water, put the lid on and appreciate the aroma emit through the pot nozzle.
- Brew Time: The first bubble is generally about 45 seconds, the re-brewing is 1 minute, and then each time after the brewing time is added by 10 seconds.
- Oolong Tea can be brewed more than seven times per pot.
Health Benefit:
This tea has anti-aging, anti-cancer. It is a good detox drink which helps prevent disabetes, arteriosclerosis. It soothes the throat and relieve cough.
